- Verse 36 in the King James Bible reads “Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.” While the New American Standard Bible reads “But they deceived Him with their mouth And lied to Him with their tongues” The impotent God of the NASB was deceived by Israel. How pathetic. Can your Lord really be DECEIVED like the NASB says? Or did the children of Israel ATTEMPT to deceive him with FLATTERY like the King James Bibles says? Many leaders recommend the NASB for “serious” Bible study by “serious students” of the Bible. Which Bible do you think your Lord recommends “serious students” use for “serious” Bible study?
